Pros and cons of Soundirok app for iPhone and iPad

Soundirok app good for

This app is miles better than MPOD/MPAD. Ive been a half content user of MPAD for a year before finally discovering Soundirok and Im very happy with the switch. Way better interface, cover art support and overall experience with my MPD player (Bryston BDP). Im giving it 4 stars because its only at the very beginning of development and I want to see how the developers will add to this app.
Soundirok is great! I use it frequently to control the sound-effects player in our live theater. It works very well and provides nice Split View support on my 12.9" iPad Pro. I leave my stageplay script open in LiquidText with Soundirok along the right side of the screen. The developer is quick to respond to feature requests. If you use MPD, get this app!

Some bad moments

Soundirock released a new version of their MPD app and, Holy Buckets, what a leap forward from the last version! Support for MPD playlists, "Collections" and "Intelligent Sets" which are basically playlists and Smart Playlists, but can be used across multiple devices that are sharing the same library collection. And, the author fixed the MPD library and album art caching issues. Elegant looking and responsive. Take a few minutes to learn the app and you will never go back to MPaD ... or other apps, from what Ive experienced.
Really good player, much better MPD player then the competition.
